From Kodi official website, Kodi supports limited Video formats such as: MPEG-1, MPEG-2, H.263, MPEG-4 SP and ASP, MPEG-4 AVC (H.264), H.265 (as from Kodi 14) HuffYUV, MJPEG, RealVideo, RMVB, WMV. So I suggest you remove all the protection from Blu-ray discs and rip Blu-ray to the commonly used H.264 MP4 format for Android TV Kodi app. Then follow below steps to add the converted Blu-ray movies to Kodi Media Library on PC.
1. Adding sources in Kodi
In the main menu of Kodi, select Videos and then Files. Now you should be able to select “Add Source”.
2. In the Add Source window, select Browse.
Search for the folder you keep all your video files in and hit the OK button and give the source a name of your converted Blu-ray movies.
3. Set the content of the source
It means telling Kodi if this source contains media like movies or TV shows. This way, Kodi can download the correct media information of your media such as images, plot summaries and trailers.
