Guide: How to backup Blu-ray save as MP4 video with Subtitles
Note that the guide below uses Blu-ray Ripper for Windows screenshots. The way to finish your task on Mac is almost the same. Just make sure you’ve downloaded the right version.
Step 1: Add Blu-ray movies
Insert your disc to your Blu-ray drive, and launch the Blu-ray Ripper; click the disc button to import your Blu-ray movies to the program.
Step 2: Choose preferred subtitles
To convert Blu-ray movies with subtitles contained, just simply click “Subtitles” and select the one you prefer. (And you can also choose the audio track as you like.)

Step 3: Select output format
Click the “Format” option, and choose H.264 MP4 or MPEG-4 from Common Video profile list. If you want to keep 1080p resolution as source movie, you can choose those format from “HD Video” category.
Tip – Advanced Settings:
If you like, you can click “Settings” to change the video encoder, resolution, frame rate, etc. as you wish. Keep in mind the file size and video quality is based more on bitrate than resolution which means bitrate higher results in big file size, and lower visible quality loss, and vice versa.
Step 4: Start Blu-ray conversion
